Driving License Medical (Includes eye test)
Suffolk Street Surgery offers a comprehensive Driving Licence Medical Service. A Driving Medical includes an assessment of eyesight using a Snellen chart, blood pressure checks to ensure you meet the relevant criteria, and a questionnaire regarding your medical history.
If your driving licence renewal involves any listed medical condition on the NDLS form, our thorough medical assessment ensures compliance. Whether it’s a Group 1 licence for up to 10 years or a Group 2 licence for up to 5 years, we’ve got you covered. Prioritising road safety, our service addresses the critical importance of vision with a thorough visual assessment. Trust Suffolk Street Surgery for a comprehensive approach to your Driving Licence Medical needs.
If you wear glasses, please bring these to your assessment. If you do not meet the required level for your type of licence, you may be asked to attend an optician for further assessment.
If there are no serious health concerns when answering the questionnaire on your medical history, then this part of the examination will not impede on you passing your medical.
