Reproductive Health

Contraception

Individuals aged 17–35* are entitled to free contraception services. All you need is your PPS number. Please make an appointment with our nurse or doctor for more information.

Note: This age range has changed recently. Please check the HSE website to confirm eligibility.

We offer a variety of contraceptive options, including both short- and long-acting methods, such as:

  • Contraceptive pills (e.g. Ovreena, Yasmin)
  • Contraceptive patch (e.g. EVRA)
  • Contraceptive ring (e.g. NuvaRing)
  • Intrauterine coils (e.g. Mirena, Kyleena, Jaydess, Copper Coil)
  • Contraceptive injection (e.g. Depo-Provera)
  • Contraceptive implant (e.g. Implanon)

Menstrual Health

Menstrual Disorders

We diagnose and treat conditions such as:

  • Irregular periods
  • Heavy bleeding
  • Painful menstrual cycles
  • Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
Cervical check

Cervical Screening

We participate in CervicalCheck, the National Cervical Screening Programme, which provides free smear tests for women aged 25–65.

  • A simple procedure that takes only minutes
  • Detects pre-cancerous changes in cervical cells
  • Performed by our experienced nurses to ensure comfort

Menopause

Many women will experience menopause symptoms for a significant portion of their lives. 

Book a dedicated menopause consultation to review:

  • Mental, physical, and sexual health
  • Cardiovascular checkup

  • Lifestyle assessment
  • Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) options (and alternatives)
Antenatal Care

From prenatal care to postnatal support, we can support your healthy pregnancy journey. 

We are happy to provide shared care with your chosen hospital or community midwife through the HSE Combined Care Scheme.

Fertility

Facing difficulties with conception can be stressful. We offer:

  • Initial investigations and management of fertility issues
  • Examinations and blood tests
  • Referrals for scanning, if needed
  • Semen analysis for men
  • Specialist care referrals, including the Regional Fertility Hub
Breast Health

Our doctors provide clinical breast exams for any concerns and can refer patients for mammograms to ensure early breast cancer detection.
