Complaints Procedure
While we at Suffolk Street Surgery make every effort to provide the best service we can to our patients we understand that situations can arise where patients may feel they have a cause for complaint. We welcome any comments and suggestions about our service that can help us improve. We will use any information you provide to us, where possible, to correct any problems or mistakes identified and your information will be treated with confidentiality.
If you wish to make a complaint, we recommend you to complete one of our complaint forms.
We would ask you to provide your name and contact details, and as much detail as possible so that we can investigate your complaint fully. Please be aware that our ability to investigate the issue will be affected by how much time has lapsed since the issue arose, and how much detail is provided. Ideally, any dissatisfaction should be reported within a few days of the event.
Please note that you cannot make a complaint on behalf of another registered patient without their written consent. There is a section on the complaints form for both parties to sign in this circumstance.
We will take all genuine complaints and suggestions seriously and try to respond to you in a timely manner. We will not be able to respond to vexatious or false complaints.
