Lets face it, no-one exactly looks forward to STI screening. But, if you are at all sexually active, it is a good idea to look after your sexual health by getting screened. Remember, not all STI’s have obvious symptoms, if any (e.g. Chlamydia), but all are treatable. Some, sexually transmitted infections are on the increase, and swift detection from STI screening means earlier treatment and management of symptoms. Please don’t feel embarrassed, we regard sexual activity as normal human behaviour and find very little shocking!
